Our Story
Our goals are to service each client to the best of our abilities. We make sure all angles are covered for any trip that takes our valued clients both near and far. We also strive to become the #1 agency in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
Good Buy Travel works to see the travel industry grow and prosper in the years to come. Tourism is a #1 source of income for some areas of the world, and those areas will not stay alive unless travel agents unite in their efforts to keep their clients happy.
In 1990 when both Bonnie and Susan became travel agents, they knew this was for was for them. But, in 1991 when the war in Saudi erupted, the dream of owning a travel agency for these two women was put on hold for a year. Finally, in May 1992 their dream came true and they started Good Buy Travel. The store front selected was 9967 W. 151st St. in Orland Park. It was only 600 square feet. Soon they were bursting at the seams and the 3 year lease had ended, so they expanded to the new location in October, 1996 at 9528 W. 147th St. in Orland Park. It has been fun along the way, too! We've booked honeymoons for clients who are now coming back to take their children to Disney, or to take their anniversary trips. It's great to make them happy!
